For over 20 years, Chris has been litigating intellectual property and commercial disputes in federal and state courts around the country, as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. His cases have involved patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and contract disputes.
He is IAPP-certified in US and European data privacy law and practice (CIPP/US, CIPP/E), including the new European General Data Privacy Regulation (GDPR).
His experience spans a wide array of industries, including pharma, high-tech, music, television, sports, ecommerce, publishing, apparel, beauty, finance, auto, and telecom.
Chris counsels clients on effective strategies to avoid unnecessary litigation. But when litigation is necessary, he has the experience to take the case to trial.
His approach to each case is simple: (1) find the right answer under the facts and law, (2) advise the client on efficient strategies to achieve a successful outcome, and (3) execute the agreed strategy.
